NetBase Quid Welcomes Rival IQ!

Furthering our ongoing effort to make the world make sense for our customers, we are thrilled to announce our acquisition of the complementary and innovative social analytics provider, Rival IQ!

This is the culmination of an amazing year at NetBase Quid®. Earlier this year, we were selected to join the Twitter Official Partner Program, and we were the first vendor to receive Reddit Data Program certification. And then we were also named a Leader in the 2021 Forrester New Wave: AI-Enabled Consumer Intelligence Platforms.

And all of this comes, of course, in the midst of external pandemic-driven challenges that have affected every industry. During this time, we’ve worked tirelessly to keep our customers  connected with the latest, actionable consumer and market intelligence, enabling  them to extract, react – and  predict – category-defining consumer and market shifts. GeekWire reports, “Rival IQ lets companies compare their social media strategy with competitors across major social platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter. It also analyzes internal social marketing data. It has nearly 700 customers.” It is a trusted partner to brands and agencies around the globe including L’Oréal USA, Ogilvy, Ruder Finn, Save the Children, and Team Canada.

And as PRWeek reports “Now called Rival IQ, a NetBase Quid® company, the subsidiary will maintain its brand and continue to sell online subscriptions. Based in Seattle and operating independently for the foreseeable future, Rival IQ will provide automated insights about followers, fans and engagements such as views, likes, shares and mentions across social media channels.

Puget Sound Business Journal reports “Rival IQ CEO John Clark said the company’s 14 employees will all be joining NetBase Quid® as part of the deal, which the companies announced Wednesday. Rival IQ will now go by “Rival IQ, a NetBase Quid® company.”
